1. Choose a picture your child recognises. Point to it and say the Swedish word.
2. Look for the first letter in your child’s name. Try finding the same letter elsewhere on the sheet.
3. Explore just a few letters at a time. This is a letter-and-word poster, not a pronunciation chart.

1. Start with 1, 2 and 3. Touch or point to each object once as you count together.
2. Say the Swedish number word, then find the matching number on the poster.
3. Try it with real objects: one toy, two crayons or three blocks. Move on to larger groups when your child is ready.

1. Let your child choose their colors. There is no right or wrong way to color the scene.
2. Point to the children building together. Say “Vi leker tillsammans” - “We play together.”
3. Use the same phrase the next time you play side by side. Ask what your child would like to build.

1. Draw: invite your child to draw a ball in the empty box for the moose.
2. Count: point to the three balls together. Circle the number that matches.
3. Spell: if your child is interested in letters, say “boll” and explore B _ L L together. Choose A, O or U. Skip this part if they are not ready.

Drawing: any ball your child imagines. Counting: 3 (tre). Missing letter: O, making BOLL. Drawing and counting are enough; spelling is an optional activity with adult support.
